BE YOURSELF Itz quite funny when I hear people say they can't pretend to be who they are not. They are always fond of saying TAKE ME THE WAY I AM, LOVE ME THE WAY I AM. Imagine a lady who has been in and out of relationships all because of her bad attitude but rather than working on herself she is still waiting for the man that will take her the way she is. SMH Who told you that is how you are? Most attitude are as a result of the environment,family and situations we find ourselves in. It is good to BE YOURSELF but the truth is do you really know YOURSELF. Most of us think we know ourselves but sincerely we don't. God looked at all He created and saw that it was good, so if that attitude you portray is a bad one then my dear that is not YOURSELF. MAT 25:14-30 PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS

Hello friends today we would be studying the book of MAT 25:14-30 in a different way SUMMARY OF THE PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS a particular master was about to go on a journey so he gave his first servant 5 talents, the second 2 talents and the last servant 1 talent after which he went on his journey. the first servant traded with his talents and added 5 more to it, the second servant also did the same and added 2 more but the last servants thought that he has been cheated, he felt he wasn't loved by his master so rather than trading with his talent he hid it until the return of his master. When the master returned he asked of the account of the talents and all the servants gave accounts. He appreciated the first two servants and had the last one thrown into the wilderness. For those who can sing and has been looking for an opportunity to showcase yourself you can do the following: try listening to songs and train your voice with it when you go visiting a friend sing to them when in church sing a song for the congregation join a choir/singing group sing at a friends party record your songs on your phone and send to friends when introducing yourself at a gathering, tell them you're an artist by doing the above am so sure opportunity would come knocking real hard

MAKING DECISIONS 2

i wrote about the Oprah type of decision last time which is a decision which doesn't have a strong foundation. Today we would be studying the other decision which i named the Ruth decision. Ruth's decision: After Oprah decided to yield to Naomi by going to her fatherland there was one person who was still determined to go with Naomi and that was RUTH. Now i wondered why Ruth still held onto her decision even after Oprah decided to go home. i came up with the following reasons as to why she still stood her grounds: 1) her decision wasn't based on Oprah's own 2) she has put several things into consideration before making the decision 3) she was seeing beyond the present her decision was able to stand the test of time because it wasn't a decision based on the situation at that time. it wasn't a decision based on someone else's decision it was a decision that saw beyond the present situation it was a decision that is rooted deep into the ground i

DECISION MAKING

In our stay here on earth we are bound to make choices which will either favour us or destroy us. now today we would be looking at two types of decisions and how they can change our lives forever. in the book of Ruth, after the death of Naomi's husband and sons she decided to go back to her village and then bid her daughter in-laws farewell. but Oprah and Ruth made a decision to follow her. now we would be studying these decisions today. 1) OPRAH's decision: when Naomi told her that she wants her to return to her hometown, she refused saying she would follow her to wherever she was going. but if we read through the story of Ruth we would discover that after much persuasion Oprah accepted to go home. now, i kept on wondering why she didn't stand on her decision to follow Naomi home then i came up with this likely reasons. a) Everything happened so sudden and she made her decision in a haste b) going home with Naomi seemed like the best thing to do at that partic

Incase you don't know talents come from God and they can only reside in a godly body. Good morning friends, for some days now we have been discussing about enemies of talents and how to fight against them. we would be looking at two other enemies of talents which are stealing and murder. i would be using a story to illustrate how stealing and murder comes into play. Kayode grew up in an average home where most of his needs where not met by his parents, he hardly eats what he wants and had to manage what his parents where able to provide. now another enemy of talents is ENVY ENVY is the desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable thing belonging to (someone else). like i said in my previews post the devil is tricky in his acts, he wouldnt do things direactly so that he wont be suspected easily. the devil knows that when you're envious of your friends talents,you would disregard your own and try to learn their own talents. now how does he do this, am going to show you an example of a devil's to-do list make her feel inferior make her jealous of her friends talents make her hate and despise hers make her want to be like her friend finally she forgets who she really is the moment you start feeling inferior because you think your friends are better than you, you give way to envy. and once envy sets in you start feeling the urge to want to be like him/her and once you start wanting to be like them you totally forget who you are and your reason for existence, you start living someone
