A story of my confused state

2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...

BOYFRIEND VERSUS BOYFRIEND

Boyfriend as used in this post refers to both gender. Yes I think it is Time we have a boyfriend vs boyfriend fight. Let's know who owns the name boyfriend. The dictionary definition did justice to that but we still don't get it. I was asked "Do you have a boyfriend?", i replied "No i don't" she laughed "so you don't have a male friend", "I call then guyfriends, not boyfriends" Yeah! So to aid our understanding I would be using guyfriend which would mean: A guy you know well and like. Boyfriend: A man or boy that you're having a sexual relationship with. So back to our discussion, still on the Dear Teens series. Dear Teen, I'm sure you're good. In case you missed my first Dear Teen post, you can get to my blog jesustibab.blogspot.com and search for WHAT'S YOUR PRIORITY. As a teenager why do you need a guyfriend or boyfriend? THE OTHER SIDE

Am not here to talk an about the other room oh LOL😆😆 this one is about the other side. Please drop your comments, I would love to know how you feel about this post.    I was in church for the digging deep service, when the Preacher started teaching I noticed what he was saying didn't correspond with the digging deep study sheet I was given.  I checked the date of the sheet and it was 18th of October 2016 and the date for that day was 11th. I noticed the congregation didn't look confused like I was so I thought of calling the attention of the usher.  Before I could get the attention of the ushers I decided to turn the other side of the sheet and there it was 11th October 2016 the topic for that day. NOTE: Before I realized the topic been preached was on the other side, the preacher was almost through with the teaching. This singular event opened my eyes to amazing life lessons I would be sharing here. 1) Majority of us have been believing God for a particu...

TRAINING A CHILD

Its no longer news that children aren't trained in the way they ought to go but in the way their parents deem it fit for them to go. Before a child is born, parents have concluded on the path/career of the child and when he is born, he has no option than follow their path like a dummy least the society tags him a disobedient child. I was discussing with a couple days ago and I raised the topic of training a child. I told them children should in the way they should go not the way their parents want them to go. I was taken aback by their response "So we should allow him become wayward abi, he should do whatever he wants to do..." Pro 22:6 "Train up a child IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO and when he is old he won't depart from it." IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO not IN THE WAY YOU WANT HIM TO GO. Let me explain better with this illustration. A pencil marker was invented for the purpose of colouring drawings on paper, you bought it and without reading the manual yo...

OPTION B

Yesterday after work i was at my bus-stop waiting for a Keke to drop me at new garage Ikeja, but i saw the number of people waiting for the same Keke and considering the whether i knew chances i would get a Keke was slim.  I decided to trek though the whether wasn't in my favor since it was already drizzling. throughout the journey to Ikeja i could barely count three Keke that past me and to my surprise it didn't rain. This event immediately taught me a life lesson which i would love to share. LESSON: There are so many individuals waiting to get to that destination you are vying for, and you all are waiting to get there through the same means. in life there is always an option B, because your graduated as an accountant doesn't mean you must work in a bank. GET AN OPTION B. You are patiently waiting with billions of people for that job, position, achievement that would take you to your destination. what if it never comes would you be stranded at your present positio...
