2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that cove
Good morning friends, for some days now we have been discussing about enemies of talents and how to fight against them. we would be looking at two other enemies of talents which are stealing and murder. i would be using a story to illustrate how stealing and murder comes into play.
Kayode grew up in an average home where most of his needs where not met by his parents, he hardly eats what he wants and had to manage what his parents where able to provide.
Kingsley attends the same school with Kayode, though his parents also weren't so wealthy but he pretends to be a rich man son and since his parents could cater for most of his needs it wasn't difficult for the class to believe his lies.
Kayode was so envious of him, he wished his own parents could get him things Kingsley had but that was just dreams, he knew his parents cant even give him half of what Kingsley had so he resorted into stealing.
Daddy Kayode was on his way to work one day when he met with a longtime friend, after exchanging pleasantries his friend enquired about his family and business. daddy Kayode explained everything to him and his friend promised to help him by giving him money for Kayode's education.
Kayode took his dad's ATM card in his wallet and decided to take some money from it without his dad's knowledge, he was surprised to see a whooping sum of #100,000 as his dad's balance which confirmed what Kingsley told him one day that his father might be wealthy but is jujst been wicked by not providing for his needs. he decided to withdrawn all the money as a reward for his father's wickedness.
His dad got an alert on his phone and was surprised to see that his account has been debited and his balance was #500, he couldn't bear the shock so he fainted.
he was rushed to the hospital by his wife and after the check up, the doctor told them he had a stroke.
Kayode couldn't bear the shock, he got to school and was surprised when Bayo told him Kingsley wasn't attending their school anymore, he just couldn't believe it. he gave the money he withdrew to Kingsley to keep for him and now Kingsley has stopped attending the school coupled with that he has been sent out from school and now getting home he was told of his dad illness.
He couldn't stopped crying as he taught of what has just befell him, he has totally lost on both sides.
Now when you allow envy into you, you automatically give way for stealing and murder. you wish you are that person and you do everything possible to have that persons talent and when you do that it means stealing the individuals talents and murdering your own talents just to give room for the stolen ones. and n matter how much of the individuals talents you steal you can never become that person i.e you have lost the identity you were trying to create and by murdering your own talents you have lost your identity also thus making you BRO/SIS UNKNOWN and such people are not recognised in the kingdom.
Preserve and work on your identity, don't crave to be someone else. you are unique in your own way and with your abilities. beware else you become BR/SIS UNKNOWN.
