A story of my confused state

  2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. MY TALENT,MY PRIDE (ENVY)

now another enemy of talents is ENVY ENVY is the desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable thing belonging to (someone else).  like i said in my previews post the devil is  tricky in his acts, he wouldnt do things direactly so that he wont be suspected easily. the devil knows that when you're envious of your friends talents,you would disregard your own and try to learn their own talents. now how does he do this, am going to show you an example of a devil's to-do list make her feel inferior make her jealous of her friends talents make her hate and despise hers make her want to be like her friend  finally she forgets who she really is the moment you start feeling inferior because you think your friends are better than you, you give way to envy. and once envy sets in you start feeling the urge to want to be like him/her and once you start wanting  to be like them you totally forget who you are and your reason for existence, you start living someone

yesterday we on masturbation as one of the tools the devil uses to destroy the talents of children/teenagers. now the good news is IT CAN BE STOPPED yeah it can actually be stopped, forget the lie of the devil that says once you've started you can stop it.  now am going to be discussing below how you can successfully stop the habit of masturbating. 1) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS BAD: wondering why this is my first point, yeah the first step towards stopping any bad habit is for you to acknowledge that it is bad.  no one wants to stop a good habit so if you're still of the opinion that there's nothing bad about masturbation then am so sorry because you would find it difficult leaving that habit. so my dear friends you have to believe that masturbation is a very bad habit and also an act of the devil towards destroying young talents. once this is achieved am happy to tell you that you are on your way to been free. 2) HAVE A MIND SET TO STOP IT: yes, knowing and accepting that

we discussed self esteem in my previous post now as per my discussion we would be considering the dangers of low self esteem there  are so many sins which the devil has packaged alongside low self esteem whereby the moment you give room for low self esteem every other sins rolls in; 1. Masturbation 2. Envy 3. stealing 4. We have recently been talking about how to believe in yourself, following the right path and doing the right thing. now today we are going to begin the study on the enemies of talents the first enemy am going to be discussing about is low self esteem LOW SELF ESTEEM: this is one of the problems facing our children today and it is a great obstacle of using your talent effectively. it makes you feel you're not worth it. it makes you feel you're below others.  you see your mates and rather than converse with them you feel inferior, you feel they are better, finer, wealthier or more lucky than you, and even most-times you so much pray and wish you where them. MY TALENT, MY PRIDE( BELIEVE IN YOURSELF)

Long ago in a certain village lived a little damsel by name Loretta, she lived with her parents and two siblings. Loretta lived in a world of her own, she sees her self doing things that she doesn't understand and most times wondered why she does them, she was tagged useless by her parents and the whole villagers. Loretta was never ever bothered by what her parents or anyone says about her but thou she still wishes she would stop those act of hers. in school she was always at the bottom of the class, she doesn't seem to understand what was been thought in class but always tries as much as possible to read.  Everyday she would say to herself "with God by my side i can make it" she never ceased encouraging herself despite the rebuke she got from all around her. she believed in the saying SMILERS NEVER LOSE so she made sure she was found smiling at all time. Please drop your comments, I would love to know how you feel about this post.    I was in church for the digging deep service, when the Preacher started teaching I noticed what he was saying didn't correspond with the digging deep study sheet I was given.  I checked the date of the sheet and it was 18th of October 2016 and the date for that day was 11th. CONDUCTOR'S SECRET

Y e sterday i boarded a bus to work and the conductor taught me a very important life lesson.  When i entered i was the only one in the bus and there were several buses there calling out for passengers but this conductor of the bus i entered did something i loved. He went across the road and started calling for passengers, he assisted some in crossing the road and he carried luggage of others. He also had to persuade some that his bus was going to move immediately they entered and before the twinkle of an eye the bus was filled while other buses were still there. After some passengers dropped he had to call for more passengers, the first two passengers offered to pay less which was ridiculous.  He refused to carry them and the bus moved to another location, getting there he picked passengers who paid exactly what he called.  It got me thinking thank God he didn't to carry those who offered to less. HOW TO COPE WITH SLOW LEARNERS

I remember my first experience with a slow learner. At first I thought he was just lazy but later I realised it wasn't laziness. He was always quite, doesn't answer questions in class and rarely relate with his peers. Within months of my stay in the school I started noticing some changes in my boy. He now attempts assignment and classwork given. He talks in class and now relates well with his classmates. The trick is to first make them feel safe in class rather than make your expectations a burden to them. Over the years I've had to teach slow Learners and it has been a wonderful experience.
