A story of my confused state

  2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. YES!!! MONEY GROWS ON TREES

We all must have heard it one way or the other that money grows on trees. I heard it first from my dad, I was so furious my dad hasn't paid my party fee. I cried and told him I must attend it and he replied saying "DO YOU THINK MONEY GROWS ON TREES". I also have said it to those who request for an amount of money I can't afford. Few weeks ago I came to realise that money do really grow on trees. The first step to growing money is BELIEVE (FAITH), believe is the best soil for growing money. It has lots of nutrient that would aid rapid and healthy growth of money. When you make believe your soil, you are positive you would yield a bountiful harvest. The second step is PERSISTENCE, just like you water your crops daily you also need to be persistent in life if you desire a bountiful harvest. UNDERSTANDING the way to PERFECTION

Perfect sontin!!! I want a perfect job, husband,wife, boyfriend,girlfriend, I want to be perfect. These are demands we make daily. You can't get a perfect sontin, job, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend... These are answers we get when we ask for the above. What exactly is perfection? Though the dictionary defined it as without fault, weakness, to be complete, exact and correct But in the actual sense understanding comes before perfection There is actually no perfect human on earth, but there perfect humans on earth if understanding is placed first. CONTENTMENT

I was the financial secretary of my fellowship in year 2015, which I had the fellowship's fund with me. There where days in school I had no food to eat, there was this particular day I fasted and had nothing to eat, the next day I still didn't eat anything until in the evening when I managed to get garri to drink. Though I was going through tough time but I didn't touch the fellowship funds. I kept the financial records of the fellowship so even if I removed some amount, no one would know The reason many turn greedy is all due to lack of contentment. So many argue that lack of contentment isn't bad, they believe we should crave for more at all time. Yes, it really isn't bad to crave for more, but while asking for more make do with what you have presently. Contentment means to make do with the present while working towards a better tomorrow. PROVISION FOR ALL

To me, the foremost thing on our minds now should be finding out the blueprints of the Creator for us this year, so as not to labour in vain. Like I wrote in my previous posts, aligning our dreams with the Creator's plans will save us the acrimony of seeing our cherished dreams crushed. Heed this advice and follow it through this year. Now,to the main thing on my mind,that was just a digression. I recall that some years back, spiritual inferiority was my second nature. I wired myself to think less of myself,as regards spirituality. I could not help wondering if I was not destined to be part of those who enjoy an intimate relationship with their maker. HOW I LOST MY JOB (2016) The company's new managing director called me into his office. MD: Titi I'm very sure you're aware of the financial setback this company is facing and right now all hands ought to be on deck towards restructuring the company. Me: Yes Sir MD: Right now I need people that can get me ten million naira per month through marketing and the way I'm seeing you, you can't befriend those men that can put money into this business. HOW TO COPE WITH SLOW LEARNERS

I remember my first experience with a slow learner. At first I thought he was just lazy but later I realised it wasn't laziness. He was always quite, doesn't answer questions in class and rarely relate with his peers. Within months of my stay in the school I started noticing some changes in my boy. He now attempts assignment and classwork given. He talks in class and now relates well with his classmates. The trick is to first make them feel safe in class rather than make your expectations a burden to them. Over the years I've had to teach slow Learners and it has been a wonderful experience.
