YES!!! MONEY GROWS ON TREES Skip to main content

A story of my confused state

2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...

YES!!! MONEY GROWS ON TREES

We all must have heard it one way or the other that money grows on trees.
I heard it first from my dad, I was so furious my dad hasn't paid my party fee. I cried and told him I must attend it and he replied saying "DO YOU THINK MONEY GROWS ON TREES".

I also have said it to those who request for an amount of money I can't afford.
Few weeks ago I came to realise that money do really grow on trees.

The first step to growing money is BELIEVE (FAITH), believe is the best soil for growing money. It has lots of nutrient that would aid rapid and healthy growth of money.
When you make believe your soil, you are positive you would yield a bountiful harvest.

The second step is PERSISTENCE, just like you water your crops daily you also need to be persistent in life if you desire a bountiful harvest.
Persistence should be a daily thing, never get tired of it.

The third step is your SOURCE, how connected are you to the right source would determine if you would get the needed sunlight it needs to have a great output.
If you plant a crop and keep it under your bed it just might not grow too well.
So be careful in choosing your mentors, role models, books you read, friends you relate with.
It would greatly determine how rapid your money would grow.

The next step is your RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, after planting, watering and exposing your crop to the required sunlight the next step is to add manure and chemicals which would nourish the crops and prevent pest.
That is where your relationship with God comes in, it acts as manure and chemical to your crops.

After doing all this you should start expecting your harvest but you should note the following.
1) Every plant has their season.
2)  We have annual, biannual   and perennial crops.
3). Some plants take years to     grow.
4) You don't eat all your seeds, you plant some and eat or sell the rest.
The above should be applied while waiting for the harvest of money.

Money is difficult to get because it has procedures, just as some people would rather buy agricultural output than own a farm so it is with money, some people would rather steal, get it through illegal means than planting and going through the procedures of getting money.

So start planting your money seed because money do grow on trees.

HOW TO COPE WITH SLOW LEARNERS

I remember my first experience with a slow learner. At first I thought he was just lazy but later I realised it wasn't laziness. He was always quite, doesn't answer questions in class and rarely relate with his peers. Within months of my stay in the school I started noticing some changes in my boy. He now attempts assignment and classwork given. He talks in class and now relates well with his classmates. The trick is to first make them feel safe in class rather than make your expectations a burden to them. Over the years I've had to teach slow Learners and it has been a wonderful experience. The link below is a podcast where I talked on how to cope with Slow Learners. It's a ten minutes audio that summarizes strategies you can put in place when you have a slow learner in class. If you have questions, I'll be glad to answer them. https://anchor.fm/MissDairo%20/episodes/How-to-cope-with-Slow-Learners-ef5bj4 Don't forget to leave a comment and share w...

MAT 25:14-30 PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS

Hello friends today we would be studying the book of MAT 25:14-30 in a different way SUMMARY OF THE PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS a particular master was about to go on a journey so he gave his first servant 5 talents, the second 2 talents and the last servant 1 talent after which he went on his journey. the first servant traded with his talents and added 5 more to it, the second servant also did the same and added 2 more but the last servants thought that he has been cheated, he felt he wasn't loved by his master so rather than trading with his talent he hid it until the return of his master. When the master returned he asked of the account of the talents and all the servants gave accounts. He appreciated the first two servants and had the last one thrown into the wilderness. EXPLANATION OF THE PARABLE The parable above is just exactly what happened when we all were been sent to the world. We were given talents which we ought to trade with here on earth ...

FOODS THAT PROMOTE A CHILD'S GROWTH AND ABILITIES

A balanced diet of nutritious food is the key to a child's healthy growth and development. No food or food group will suddenly add inches to an aspiring dancer. Human growth depends on different organs and processes working together. A balanced diet of grains, fruits, vegetables, and proteins such, as milk, eggs, and meats, provides essential nutrients to all parts of the body so that every inch and pound gained is a healthy inch and pound. Breads and Grain Products Carbohydrates provide the energy kids need to grow and thrive. doctors recommends that about 60 percent of the calories children consume each day should come from carbohydrates found in whole-grain breads, pasta, waffles ,and cereals, both hot and cold. Grain-based foods that have undergone the least amount of processing and refining deliver the highest levels of nutrition to children. It's almost impossible to go wrong with oatmeal, although the instant varieties have high amounts of added sugar. Other food...
