2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...
good day great-minds, am sure you all are familiar with Mattew 7:7 which talks about asking, seeking, and finding.
some days ago this verse just kept on coming through my mind and by God's grace i was able to get a key thing about this passage.
we sometimes wonder why our prayers don't get answered ππ but the thing is they do get answered but we are just so unaware of that.π±π±
Mattew 7:7 says ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.
ill try to make this as brief as possible with some headingsππ
ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE
to ask simply means to request for something. When we ask God for something ( something good and sincere thou) He tends to give it to us. the problem here is we sometimes don't know we have gotten it, God encourages hard-work so even when He is giving you something you asked for you will still need some hard-work to get it.
when you ask the answer is packaged waiting for you to come claim it.πππππ
SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND
this is the second stage of getting your request from God.
seek means to try and search for something. even after you have asked God for a particular thing you are not expected to go home and sleep waiting for when the blessings πππ you asked for would come knocking on your door.π π π
NO. you still have to seek for that blessing or whatever you asked for, the assistance asking does is that it makes what you're looking for easy to find thats why you actually had to ask first so that you would get one step closer to claiming it.π π π
when you have asked the next step is to seek for what you asked for.
you can't just ask God for a job and then go back to sleep l-), you still need to send your C.V to companies. God is not a magician, when you asked him he made a job available for you but that job would only be yours if you submit your C.V .
after asking you need to seek and be rest assured you will find.
KNOCK AND THE DOOR SHALL BE OPEN TO YOU
from this i understood something, when you ask God for something He doesn't directly deliver it to you π¬π¬π¬π¬. He probably would send it to the storehouse and say to them " when bro A π¨π¨ knocks on the door let him in so that he can claim his blessingππ ".
you see, your asking just took you a step close to accessing your blessing.
when you asked your answers were packaged hoping for when you would come to claim them.
and the moment you started seeking your steps were directed to the storehouse and all you had to do was knock and claim it.
SUMMARY OF THIS ALL
getting your answersππ from God is so easy only if you are not lazy.
you just have to make a request, go to the destinationππ and claim your request. SO SIMPLE
so now let your prayers take a different turn
don't ask alone, also seek and knock.
when you ask it truly would be given, but you need to still seek and you shall find the door of your storehouse, knock on it and the door would be open for you to CLAIM IT!!!!πππππ
