A story of my confused state

  2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made.   •  learn the secret of wisdom ( sit, listen, ask)
ever wondered why Jesus would stoop so low as to sitting, listening and asking questions in the temple.  so many of those too have thought this way "how can i learn from him?" "how can i ask questions" and other every funny remarks.
Jesus Christ knew the secret for the height of wisdom he wanted lies in his ability to sit, listen and ask.
the sitting most come before the listening and then the asking comes after.

i wonder sometimes why some people ask amiss and i discovered it lies in their inability to sit.
the FACT ABOUT SITTING is that it relaxes your nerves and keeps you alert. it keeps you sense organs alert and ready for the information they are about to receive.
i discovered an information received while standing cant be compared to an information received while sitting.  when standing you are not focused, your mind is divided between the information and other happenings around you, but when you are sitted you hardly get distracted because you are fully relaxed.

also after listening it is very important to ask questions.
when you ask questions you would never be lost.
FACTS ABOUT SITTING, LISTENING AND ASKING.
  • sit before you listen, listen before you ask
  • sitting calms the nerves and prepares it for the next
  • when you sit and listen, you assimilate more
  • it is very important to ask questions after listening
  • knowledge lies in your ability to sit, listen and ask
now the problem we have is most people sit, listen and ask in the wrong place. that is why you see the level of criminal activities increasing every day.
the source of an information matter a lot, Jesus Christ knew just where to get the right information he needed, that's why he went to the temple.
he should have gone to the club, party, beer parlor, girlfriends house e.t.c to sit, listen and ask but he knew all those will mare his destiny so he choose the right source of information.

and we can see the end product of it.LUKE 2:52" And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."

this sums it all up that the secret behind growing in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man lies in this equation
SIT+LISTEN+ASK(IN THE RIGHT PLACE)= GROWTH IN WISDOM, STATURE, WISDOM WITH GOD AND MAN.

Jesus understood the right time to stay behind and he did that for the right  reason, he further went to sit, listen and ask in the right place.
he understood his mission and he knew the wisdom he needs could only be gotten from the temple. this is to say that not every location is good for you.
understanding you mission is very important because it will enable you know the right source to get the needed informations form.

so get to know your purpose/mission in life
acknowledge that you need a level of knowledge about you purpose
get the right source of knowledge
stay behind
sit
listen
ask
and you will see yourself flourishing.

MAT 25:14-30 PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS

Hello friends today we would be studying the book of MAT 25:14-30 in a different way SUMMARY OF THE PARABLE OF THE THREE SERVANTS a particular master was about to go on a journey so he gave his first servant 5 talents, the second 2 talents and the last servant 1 talent after which he went on his journey. the first servant traded with his talents and added 5 more to it, the second servant also did the same and added 2 more but the last servants thought that he has been cheated, he felt he wasn't loved by his master so rather than trading with his talent he hid it until the return of his master. When the master returned he asked of the account of the talents and all the servants gave accounts. He appreciated the first two servants and had the last one thrown into the wilderness. UNDERSTANDING the way to PERFECTION
