IF IT'S ABOUT A CHILD, TALK TO ME Skip to main content

A story of my confused state

2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...

IF IT'S ABOUT A CHILD, TALK TO ME

As parents to get the best from our kids starts from us, same goes to teachers.

We are all gearing towards making the world a better place and our kids are the ones to make that change but it all depends on how we train them today.

Parents, teachers and guardian need to be enlightened and counselled on how to get the best from these kids.

The world is changing and so are our kids.

All kids are different and thus require different approach but we make the mistake of generalizing the advice and punishment given to them.

Want to get the best of your child?

Having issues and want a way out?

Want to know how best to relate with that child?

Want to know what works best?

Do you feel your kid doesn't take to correction?

Why do kids do what they do?

Why do they act that way?

What do they want from you?

Meet me, Dairo Titilope Blessing (JesusTibab, Miss Dairo) kid's best friend. I have got 98%( still counting) of the solutions and answer you need.

4 I was once a child and I understand a lot about attitudes of kids, the cause and way out. I also know what we expect from our parents.

So you can see, all what I engage in is all about kids.

WHY AND HOW DO I HAVE THE ANSWERS

As a child I was able to identify those lapses and I worked towards getting answers and solutions in order to assist parents, teachers and guardians in having a cordial relationship with their kids.

We all want a great tomorrow after all.

MY TALENT, MY PRIDE( DISCOVER YOURSELF)

Bola,Tayo, Ayo amd Bimpe where very close friends. they are the type of kids every parents would always pray to have. Bola was a very talented singer, she sings like an angel and everyone adores her. Tayo too was a good dancer, he is so flexible that one would wonder if his body where made of foam. Ayo wasn't left out, he was so good with spellings, he could spell words those older than him would find difficult spelling. Bimpe felt like the odd one out,"why am i the one without a talent"she would always say to herself. whenever she went out with her friends for talents audition she would always feel left out because she has nothing to present. she would always cry her eyes out sometimes wishing she was her friends. she envied her friends talents and most times prayed to God to make her a singer, dancer or a good speller. when she saw her prayers have been ignored by God she started attending dance and music classes, she would always go to her friend Ayo to teach ...
