A mosquito named Garle went in search of blood, he entered a room and a minute later people there started jamming their hands in a bid to kill it.
Garle mistook the act for praises, he left with joy and returned the next day just because he wants to be praised.
Garle forgot his main aim of going out, he forgot about food rather he digested the praises he received.
Garle went out as usual, feeling comfortable with his new environment and the praises he received, rather than flying he stayed on the bed and watched waiting for when the applause would be rendered to him but poor Garle didn't see it coming.
The same hand that clapped for him killed him that day.
Interesting story right
Where you able to pick some lessons from the story.
I did
Read below
1) Have a goal, set your eyes always on the goal, remind yourself always of the goal.
2) Distractions would always set in, but don't give way to the distractions.
3) Not all who praise you mean well, some actually pray for your downfall
4) Be careful when praise sets in least you fall
5) Don't feel relaxed due to the praises you receive, but rather break more limitations.
6) When particular environment, task etc seen too comfortable , it is time to leave and move forward.
Comfort is a silent killer
7) Don't act because of the praises, act because it is necessary.
8) Be vigilant, the hand that claps for you might pull you down.
