A story of my confused state

  2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. HOW TO STOP YOUR MOUTH FROM SMELLING

I sat on the bed one early morning puzzled on why our mouths never cease to smell whenever we wake in the morning.
I mean even when you brush it 10 times the previous day you will still wake up to a smelly mouth.
Thou I also noticed the rate at which a mouth that get brushed once will smell isn't how the one that gets brushed twice daily would smell.

The more frequent we brush our teeth the less smelly it gets.
BUT THE FACT IS IT WOULD STILL SMELL.

There is actually a way to stop your mouth from smelling the next day after a rigorous brushing today.

That's why we never stop brushing our teeth, no matter how clean our mouth is today we still brush it the next day.

So that means the only way to stop our mouth from smelling is to brush it daily. YEAH!!!!

You know I have met with some highly intellectual individuals and am surprised at their insatiable desire for knowledge.
Am like "Mr you've got it all, why want more?
Why read more?

It then occurred to me

Just like you can't get enough of brushing your teeth least you end up with a smelly mouth, you also can't get all the knowledge in the world.

No matter how intelligent you are, it doesn't matter the number of books you've read or how much knowledge you've gained.
THE MOMENT YOU DECIDE TO STOP BRUSHING YOUR BRAIN(Learning) YOU WILL STINK.
Did you say stink?
Yes dearie, I did.

We live in an ever developing world where the knowledge gained yesterday becomes a waste today.

To be relevant in this ever changing world you need to develop an insatiable desire for knowledge.
Hunger and thirst for more knowledge.
No man knows it all, no one is an island of knowledge.

Don't rely on the knowledge of a stove when the today's trend is the use of gas.

The moment you stop learning believing you know all, you become a foolish man in this world.
I hear of certain words and inventions and am like "as at yesterday this didn't exist"

If a man who died last year should come back to life,he would have to be taught several things before he can relate with our world of today.

Every today cones with mind blowing inventions, vast knowledge, millions of books which no one imagined would be in existence.

What are you learning today?
Develop an insatiable desire for knowledge
Hunger and thirst for more
Be relevant

MY TALENT, MY PRIDE( DISCOVER YOURSELF)

Bola,Tayo, Ayo amd Bimpe where very close friends. they are the type of kids every parents would always pray to have. Bola was a very talented singer, she sings like an angel and everyone adores her. Tayo too was a good dancer, he is so flexible that one would wonder if his body where made of foam. Ayo wasn't left out, he was so good with spellings, he could spell words those older than him would find difficult spelling.
