2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...
everyone knows a destiny helper is that person who helps you achieve your destiny. i absolutely agree with that but looking at our understanding of destiny helpers i noticed a gap which i intend to bridge with this post.
before i proceed i would want to appreciate the foundation of this post which is the HOLY SPIRIT
a destiny helper is a person, an event, occurrence targeted at pushing us to our destiny.
majority of us believe destiny helpers are those who invest into your dreams or support you financially. it is actually deeper than that and because we don't really understand them we fail to recognise it when God sends us one.
to make this posts clearer we would be studying some very popular bible characters as our case study
- JOSEPH: we are all familiar with the story of Joseph, his dreams, and how he became prime minister. now i hope your are aware that Pharaoh wasn't his destiny helper in any way. his brothers betrayal, potiphar's wife, Pharaoh's dream and the famine. yeah even the butler who told Pharaoh about him isn't his destiny helper because if Pharaoh had not dreamt the butler wouldn't have remembered Joseph. his destiny was to become a ruler and for that destiny to be achieved his brothers had to hate and betray him, potiphers wife had to lie against him and there had to be a famine.
- JESUS CHRIST: his destiny was to die for our sins but for that to happen some certain people had to despise him and Judas had to betray him and mind you they are his destiny helpers.
I read of a young man who wanted to get a job as a cleaner in a company. on getting there he was asked to provide his email address which he didnt have then because it was too expensive to get one then.
he was denied employment and was asked to get an email first, he went into a supermarket and bought some tomatoes, he went house-to-house selling the tomatoes and was able to make profit.
he continued doing that daily till he was able to get a delivery truck, after few years he owned a company of his own and had people working under him.
an interviewer asked asked him that if without an email he was able to achieve this big that what would have happened if he actually has an email. he told the man if he had an email he would have become the cleaner at the company.
the disappointment he got from the company was actually his destiny helper.
destiny helpers don't always come with land full of diamonds, most times it will require you digging up the diamonds yourself.
most of us might have met with our destiny helpers somehow but neglected it or got depressed.
that sack letter might actually be the destiny helper you have been praying for, that break-up might be the destiny helper, that exam you failed might be the destiny helper.
we wonder why God hasn't sent our destiny helpers to us, but he did send them only that we failed to recognise them.
understanding of destiny helpers is really deeper than we see it, and except we really understand it we might see our destiny helpers and overlook them.
and am also not saying they cant come the way we expect them to come but they would not always come that way.
i hope i have done enough justice to this post and i really pray we understand it.
feel free to ask questions.
