IF LIFE ISN'T FAIR. BLEACH IT Skip to main content

A story of my confused state

2018, I moved to Ogun state and had to seek employment in a school within my vicinity. As a Lagos teacher, I was used to a vibrant class, swift answers and mushy acts by my students. So I resumed at my new work place with that fully charged energy. The first day got me confused. I was to teach the primary classes, I started my class and it was obvious these children were not following. They could neither understand what I was saying nor did they show any bit of interest. It was then I knew I had to start from the scratch. First, I had to create a connection. I wanted them to understand that I am first their friend. I needed to set the foundation that they can have both a friend and teacher in one. After that, I came down to their level. I made them feel and appreciate every little progress they made. I built up their interest in education. We worked together, applying several strategies I discovered and created, and within some month the growth was evident. Eureka is a book that ...

IF LIFE ISN'T FAIR. BLEACH IT

am so sure you went ha ha ha ha when you saw this funny title, yeah!!! i thought so too when i got the inspiration to write on it but after i meditated on it, everything became very very clear.
majority of us are fond of complaining, nagging, crying and shouting LIFE ISN'T FAIR!!!, just because you lost your loved ones, failed an examination, had a break-up or lost a job opportunity.
http://www.whoislisaschulte.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Unknown.jpeg
am sure you would be expecting me to write on how to bleach life since it isn't fair, but dearie just as i wouldn't advice you to use a bleaching cream, i won't also advice you to bleach your life.

some of us are black, dudu, brown, red, chocolate, fair, yellow, afi e.t.c in complexion, that was just the way we were created.  it wasn't our choice to make, but rather to love.
irrespective of the complexion you are, it is expected of you to love yourself.  i wonder why so many people love bleaching their colors, they want to become fair because they think fairness if beauty.

you are just perfect with your color, have you ever seen how awkward those who use bleaching cream are. Rather than bleach your skin, why not make your skin attractive. majority of us complain we are too black while we have those who are black and shining. This is where i start making my point.

i know must people would say we have original bleaching cream that can change your color without any side effects. well as far as it changes your God given color it is BAD.

now back to my main point
life seriously hasn't been fair to many of us, we wish we were the presidents son, the richest dude on earth e.t.c but just as your color is perfect for you so is life also.

majority of us in a bid to make life fair we apply the bleaching method which i call the fast method.
we want to get rich quickly, we want to get married quickly, we want to be known quickly. we just want to bleach life, we go into dubious business, force men in marrying us, engage in exam malpractice, do money rituals e.t.c

And just as how bleaching the body changes your color completely from your God given color, bleaching life also changes your life from your God given life. Yes you eventually become rich but not through God's will, you get married but not God's will for your marriage.
bleaching life gives you a life you think you need, it satisfies your selfish desire and it doesn't last forever. just like the side effects in bleaching, you get side effects in bleaching life.
you don't enjoy it, trouble set in, it doesn't last. Don't try bleaching life. i beg you

Now rather than bleaching life there is a better and more effective way of changing life without contradicting God's plan for your life.
we are aware that eating fruits, vegetable, drinking water and taking enough rest brightens our natural color and makes it attractive. yeah applying this to life also brightens life without contradicting God's plan for your life.

when it seems like life isn't just fair to you
when it seems like all hope is lost
when you feel like bleaching your life
when you feel like giving up
i bring you the good news
EAT FRUITS, VEGETABLES, GOOD FOOD, DRINK WATER AND REST

am sure you didn't understand what the above meant, rather than bleaching life try making it attractive and still in God's plan.
eating of fruits, veggies e.t.c means believe in yourself, trust God and His promises towards you, don't let trials break you, be optimistic, keep pushing forward, never give up, never give in, don't compromise, don't be distressed, don't move in the company of those who believe the only way to change life is by bleaching, be focused, be determined, read stories that would inspire you, attend inspirational seminars, connect with people who are on the mission to make life brighter, read books, appreciate life, smile always, get a mentor, don't think too much, rest a lot and by the time you put all this things together you would be surprised at how bright and attractive your life is and the good thing is it is still in God's will for you.

Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Goodluck Jonathan, Aliko Dangote, Cosmos Maduka e.t.c are proves that eating fruits, vegetables e.t.c are better than bleaching your life.

there is usually a great difference between bleaching life and making your life attractive the natural way.
Thomas Edison , Goodluck Jonathan and the rest are celebrated worldwide because they took the right path, they can stand tall today and say this is ME, they can address nations just because they did it the right way. But the rich yahoo guys, thieves, those who rushed into marriage, ritualists e.t.c they aren't enjoying it to the fullest, their conscience  judges them all the time, they can't boast of their source.

Don't bleach life.

MY TALENT, MY PRIDE( DISCOVER YOURSELF)

Bola,Tayo, Ayo amd Bimpe where very close friends. they are the type of kids every parents would always pray to have. Bola was a very talented singer, she sings like an angel and everyone adores her. Tayo too was a good dancer, he is so flexible that one would wonder if his body where made of foam. Ayo wasn't left out, he was so good with spellings, he could spell words those older than him would find difficult spelling. Bimpe felt like the odd one out,"why am i the one without a talent"she would always say to herself. whenever she went out with her friends for talents audition she would always feel left out because she has nothing to present. she would always cry her eyes out sometimes wishing she was her friends. she envied her friends talents and most times prayed to God to make her a singer, dancer or a good speller. when she saw her prayers have been ignored by God she started attending dance and music classes, she would always go to her friend Ayo to teach ...

HOW I LOST MY JOB (2016) The company's new managing director called me into his office. MD: Titi I'm very sure you're aware of the financial setback this company is facing and right now all hands ought to be on deck towards restructuring the company. Me: Yes Sir MD: Right now I need people that can get me ten million naira per month through marketing and the way I'm seeing you, you can't befriend those men that can put money into this business. Or can you? Me: No Sir MD: Well, I need those who can go to any length to get me that money. In that case your service is no longer needed here... I couldn't get another job for months until February when I got the teaching job, I was told I'm going to be paid an amount which is my previous salary divided by 3. HOW TO COPE WITH SLOW LEARNERS

I remember my first experience with a slow learner. At first I thought he was just lazy but later I realised it wasn't laziness. He was always quite, doesn't answer questions in class and rarely relate with his peers. Within months of my stay in the school I started noticing some changes in my boy. He now attempts assignment and classwork given. He talks in class and now relates well with his classmates. The trick is to first make them feel safe in class rather than make your expectations a burden to them. Over the years I've had to teach slow Learners and it has been a wonderful experience. The link below is a podcast where I talked on how to cope with Slow Learners. It's a ten minutes audio that summarizes strategies you can put in place when you have a slow learner in class. If you have questions, I'll be glad to answer them. https://anchor.fm/MissDairo%20/episodes/How-to-cope-with-Slow-Learners-ef5bj4 Don't forget to leave a comment and share w...
